—  Training Program — 

Nestled in the Pigeon Hills of New Oxford, Pennsylvania, about 10 miles from Gettysburg, Pembroke Pointe Show Stables is one of the leading equitation, hunter and jumper training programs in Pennsylvania. Pembroke Pointe and our team of assistants offer a full service boarding and training experience that is tailored to each individuals needs. We focus on the development of Junior and Amateur riders, as well as the development and training of young sale horses. Our clients experience full service grooming and care, staff on the property 24/7 and the arenas watered and drug daily. The facility also features 22 stalls split up among 3 different barns. These barns each include a tack & feed room, 2 wash/grooming stalls and we have a client storage room and a full service laundry room also on site. The property has one outdoor arena and one indoor arena, both filled with GGT footing. The outdoor arena measures 250’ x 150’ while the indoor arena offers a climate controlled viewing room for the 180’ x 80’ riding area. We have 11 paddocks with a mowed walking trail around the perimeter of the property.

Additionally, the horses have access to our BEMER Therapy blanket and HorseGym 2000 treadmill if needed.

Head Trainer - Rider - sales

Kelsey Bernini Lawrence

Kelsey had a successful junior career locally, winning the Maryland Medal Finals and the Josey Mohler Equitation Finals with Chris Hurlbert-Gemmill and Frank Madden. Throughout the rest of her junior years, Kelsey rode under Frank Madden finishing in the Top 25 at USEF Medal Finals, earning her Bronze and Silver medal for the Platinum Performance/ USEF Show Jumping Talent Search, along with ranked in the Top 45 on the Bates Equitation Ranking List. After her junior years were over, Kelsey attended Centenary University where she helped them win multiple national championships on both the IHSA and ANRC teams. She was also awarded the 2013 ANRC Individual National Championship.  At Centenary she earned her bachelor degree in Equine Business Management. As she has moved onto her professionals years, Kelsey has been working and training with Sandy Ferrell, Andre Dignelli, Michael Dowling, Scott Stewart and Ken Berkley, as well as Thilo Krapf in Germany. Recently returning to Southern Pennsylvania, Kelsey is looking forward to bringing her knowledge back to the area.
